Border Group Parish Councils new Chair is Cllr. Paul Derrick who was voted in at the recent Annual General Meeting held at Lingen Village Hall. Paul is councillor for Buckton & Coxall and we wish him well in his year of office. Cllr. Simon (Sam) Whiteman remains as Vice Chair. 05/16
Parish Council the vacancy for Willey parish has now been filled by Trevor Pritchard who was co-opted onto the parish council sometime late last year. Therefore, both the Brampton Bryan and Willey vacancies are now filled which arose due to two councillors being disqualified from office last year for failing to correctly submit their Declarations of Acceptance of Office, which is a statutory requirement.
